The Kauffman Center Marketing and Community Engagement Internship is available to students in the Kansas City, MO, area who are majoring in marketing, public relations, digital media, journalism, or arts administration. To be considered for this internship, you should be flexible, dependable, detail-oriented, self-starting, and possess excellent communication skills. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience producing mass email communications using software (WordFly, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, or similar), editing WordPress websites or blogs, or coordinating community events. As an intern, you will assist with program marketing, communications, and PR efforts for any upcoming Kauffman Center Presents performance and other community programs and events, including Future Stages Festival. Specifically, you will write press releases, blog posts, and articles as well as maintain and contribute to the photo and video archive, create email marketing templates, and cultivate marketing outreach opportunities. This internship is offered in Kansas City, MO, during the summer, fall, and spring semesters.
