Description

The WDI Construction Management Internship is available to junior-level and above undergraduate students and graduate students of any level who are pursuing a degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you must be at least 18 years of age, hold a valid driver's license, possess excellent organizational and task management skills, be familiar with Microsoft Office, and have an understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. As an intern, your responsibilities may include managing an entire scope of a small project or scope of work (i.e. guest rooms, small enhancement projects, graphics, FF&A, restaurant, retail, etc.) within financial parameters and to the high-quality standards of WDI, coordinating inspections, shadowing engineers, and working closely with field crew to gain a better understanding of various processes. You will also gain exposure to other miscellaneous construction management responsibilities such as: document control, RFI, submittals, punch-list planning, and schedule tracking. This internship is offered in Lake Buena Vista, FL, and runs from late May/early June - January.
