Description

The Missouri Department of Conservation Legal Internship is available to second-year and above law students who are interested in public service and conservation. To be considered for this internship, you should be able to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships, demonstrate regular and predictable attendance, and be able to keep an accurate record of supplies, services, and time reports. As an intern, you will assist General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel with legal research, writing, and analysis of legal issues on wide variety of topics, which may include state and federal wildlife management and conservation, endangered species, construction, real estate, employment, open records, administrative law, and contracts. You will also attend meetings, trainings, and field trips to learn about conservation, leadership, and public service. This internship is located in Jefferson City, MO.
