The Emerge America Internship is available to female applicants between 18 - 25 years of age who belong to the democratic political party. To be considered for this internship, you should possess a passion for the advancement of women in politics, be eager to learn the ins and outs of a political organization, and be a proactive problem-solver. Additionally, you should be comfortable with Microsoft Office, be familiar with general office operations, have professional and clear communication skills, and have proficiency with social media platforms. As an intern, you will play an integral role with fundraising, event planning, affiliate management, and communications. You will gain an understanding of the Democratic platform, have the opportunity to learn strategies for getting women to run for office and win, and have exposure to a wide network of politically engaged individuals. You will also receive mentorship and training and have the opportunity to take part in political events such as fundraisers and discussions. This internship is offered in Washington, DC.
