The Women's Congressional Policy Institute Policy Internship is available to undergraduate students of all majors and to recent graduates. To be considered for this internship, you should have a demonstrated interest in women’s issues, possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, work well as part of a team, and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience with social media platforms. As an intern, your duties will include writing and publishing WCPI’s Weekly Legislative Update, tracking congressional legislation important to women each week, assisting with preparation for congressional briefings and events, and updating the database of potential donors and congressional contacts. This internship is offered in Washington, DC, throughout the year.
