The Women's Congressional Policy Institute Communications/Development Internship is available to undergraduate students of all majors and to recent graduates. To be considered for this internship, you should have a demonstrated interest in social media strategy, digital outreach, and a genuine interest in development/fundraising work. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience in graphic design, social media planning, website maintenance, and/or video editing. As an intern, you will collaborate with the communications team to research and develop creative social media strategies, including relevant campaigns and design program-specific posts, such as infographics, reels, and flyers. You will also monitor and update social media sites, update content on the WCPI website, and help prepare donor upgrade requests, research potential donors, and update donor records. This internship is offered in Washington, DC, throughout the year.
