The U.S. Department of Energy MEISPP Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students attending a Minority Serving Institution (MSI) on a full-time basis. To be considered for an internship, you must be a U.S. citizen, be at least 18 years of age, have earned at least 24 credits, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Additionally, you should demonstrate leadership potential, a commitment to public service, an interest in energy-related issues, and possess strong communication skills. As an intern, you will gain professional and technical career experience while working side-by-side with an assigned mentor who is a subject matter expert at the DOE.
