Description

The Relativity Space Launch Summer Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, take ownerships of projects from start to finish, and have basic knowledge of common fluid & structural components and instrumentation, such as valves, regulators, hydraulic actuators, pressure transducers, thermocouples, flow meters, accelerometers, strain gauges, load cells. As an intern, you will help out and take on an active role in the development, build-up, activation, and operation of launch site GSE, including fluid systems (liquid oxygen, liquid natural gas, gaseous helium, liquid and gaseous nitrogen, hydraulics, water, and environmental control systems), supporting infrastructure, mating hardware and mechanisms, procedure development, system maintenance and launch operations. This internship is offered in Long Beach, CA.
