The Bryce Canyon National Park Summer Astronomy Outreach Internship is available to undergraduate students who are majoring in astronomy or a related field. To be considered for this internship, you must be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident. Selection is based on a letter of interest, experience with telescopes/night sky education/dark sky advocacy, coursework, and two recommendations. As an intern, you will spend the summer living at Bryce Canyon National Park and participating in their night time programs. These programs involve giving talks to the general public about astronomy and dark sky preservation as well as operating telescopes. Housing is provided for this 11-week internship located in Utah.
