Description

The Zoetis Multi-Omics Bioinformatics Data Analyst Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a degree in computational or a biological discipline who are least 18 years of age. To be considered for this internship, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0, experience with R Shiny and JavaScript, have some background in high-throughput biological data analysis such as genomics or transcriptomics/RNA-seq, and be familiar with Unix and high-performance computing (HPC) cluster operations. As an intern, you will develop and process biological data through various analytical pipelines in a cloud-computing environment. You will curate, clean, process, and archive large volumes of biological data to assist with project initiatives across multiple R and D therapeutic areas and will also participate in R Shiny app development for interactive data visualization and statistical analysis. This internship is offered in Kalamazoo, MI, as well as remotely.
