The Colorectal Cancer Alliance Peer Support Remote Internship is available to students who are looking for a meaningful internship experience. The Colorectal Cancer Alliance is a national nonprofit organization committed to ending colorectal cancer within our lifetime. They help patients, families, survivors, and caregivers navigate diagnosis and treatment options, connect them with those who can share experiences and knowledge, and identify resources to meet their needs. They partner with healthcare professionals and social influencers to raise awareness of preventative screening, and collaborate with researchers to better understand the disease and fund critical research. As an intern, you will assist with peer support program management, create and edit program materials, perform volunteer outreach, research and analyze industry standards, conduct literary reviews of current evidence based medical information pertaining to colorectal cancer, and help with data entry. This internship is offered remotely or in-person in Washington, DC.
