The Humane Society Law Clerk Remote Internship is available to 2L and 3L law students. To be considered for this internship, you should have a strong interest in animal protection issues, litigation, and legal research. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and research skills, be detail-oriented and flexible, and have proficiency in Microsoft Office, Westlaw and Lexis/Nexis legal research databases, and internet/online research tools. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in animal protection, administrative, or environmental law. As an intern, you will conduct legal research and writing assignments for APL attorneys on ongoing and developing litigation projects, as well as legislation, that seeks to achieve organizational strategic plan metrics and defend strategic plan victories. This internship is offered remotely and runs for 10 weeks.
