Description

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Golf and Grounds Internship is available to students pursuing a degree in Golf Course Management, Turfgrass Management, Sports Management, or related fields. You must posses a positive attitude, strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and have an eagerness to learn to be considered for this internship. As an intern, you will be a part of the unique preparations and event execution of the Month of May concluding with the Indianapolis 500 and other events from the facilities and grounds management perspective. You will participate in the planning, carrying out, and follow up of all agronomic practices performed on the IMS campus as well as help with all aspects of maintaining a championship level golf course. Perks include extracurricular activities, golfing privileges, and behind the scenes access to the historic raceway and events. This internship runs May - August and takes place in Indianapolis, IN.
