NCH Special Events Internship-Remote

Description

The NCH Special Events Internship is available to students who are interested in helping address homelessness. To be considered for this internship, you should be able to multi-task, have knowledge of database systems, possess superior communication skills, and have experience using digital and social media for business. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with direct service to homeless/low income populations, writing promotional materials, and event planning. As an intern, you will work to further the goals of NCH as well as the comprehensive campaign to end homelessness called Bring America Home Now. You will work to get the Faces of Homelessness speakers involved in special events, prepare for the November Hunger and Homelessness week, and maintain contact with those agencies seeking representation from the National Coalition for the Homeless on various panels and policy discussion groups. You will also assist with hosting events around the Bring America Home campaign in order to push policy changes to benefit those without housing and will help to coordinate all staff involvement in awareness events. This internship is offered on a fully remote basis.
