African Community Center Educational Access Internship

Description

The African Community Center Educational Access Internship is available to students who have an interest in working in a non-profit setting with refugees. To be considered for this internship, you should possess strong organizational, communication, and intercultural skills. Preference will be given to applicants who are bilingual in English and Arabic, Somali, Kiswahili, Tigrinya, Dari, Pashto, Nepali, Burmese and dialects spoken in Burma (Karen, Kachin, Rohingya and others). As in intern, you will work alongside the School Liaison to ensure that refugee families are able to obtain needed educational services including adult and child schooling, digital literacy, and community orientation. This internship is located in Denver, CO.
