Description

The Arizona Department of Health Services Adolescent Health Initiatives Internship is available to undergraduates and graduates who are majoring in public health, social work, program administration, business administration, community health, sociology, and related fields. To be considered for this internship, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0, have a basic understanding of program design and evaluation, and possess strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills. Preference will be given to students who have an understanding of adolescent reproductive health in Arizona or nationwide. As an intern, you will be responsible for assisting with capacity building and program sustainability efforts to support and improve Adolescent Health Initiatives program infrastructure and process efficiencies. Specific duties may include developing teen pregnancy prevention programs, reviewing and editing the AHI website, coordinating professional development training for youth service providers, and supporting youth mental health initiatives. This internship is offered in Phoenix, AZ, as a hybrid position.
