The Growing Gardens Sustainable Farming and Greenhouse Management Internship is available to students who are passionate about learning how to grow food and develop community. To be considered for this internship, you should be responsible, organized, dedicated, physically capable, and be able to work varying shifts. Additionally, you should be CPR and First Aid certified prior to the start of the internship. As an intern, you will assist the Farm Manager and growing staff in all aspects of farm operation, including weekly chore shifts at the goat dairy, animal care, planning/installation/operation of irrigation systems, bed preparation and planting, seeding and maintaining greenhouse and garden crops, plant sale, harvesting produce, equipment operation and maintenance, record-keeping, and mentoring/teaching teens in the Cultiva Youth Project. This internship is offered in Boulder, CO, and Longmont, CO.
