Polaris CMF Internship

Description

The Polaris CMF Internship is available to students pursuing a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Design Arts, Graphic Arts, or Industrial Design. To be considered for this internship, you must have an excellent eye for detail, have exposure to decal printers/plotter machines, be familiar with retouching and manipulating images, and be able to translate sketches into real-life mockups on a vehicle. Preference will be given to applicants with powersports experience and with Adobe CS. As an intern, you will be responsible for creating materials/finishes, seat patterns, interior layouts, model count matrices, call out sheets and color schemes utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite software from kick-off to launch of the vehicle. They are responsible for interpreting sketches/renderings into printable files for full scale mockups and engaging with other designers in critiques and asked to rework ideas for production feasibility along with meeting cost targets as well as the latest color and graphic trends. You may also pull material, paint, plastic, ink, vinyl and other samples from the library to aid mockups/presentations. This internship is located in Medina, MN.
