Description

The Sporting Kansas City Soccer Youth Soccer Programs and Competitions Fall Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a degree in Sports Marketing and Management, Business, Communications, or other related field. You must have an awareness of sports industry development, interest or experience in competitive sports, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office to be considered for this internship. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with SportsEngine and/or HTG tournament/league building sites. As an intern, you will support the Youth Development Team by gathering research for potential member organizations in the Sporting Club Network and will help organize, promote, and facilitate soccer clinics, tournaments, camps, coaching education, and other community-driven events. You will also assist with partner activation/fulfillment on game days, assist with communication and marketing of youth soccer camps/leagues, and hold coaching and/or administrative roles at Sporting Kansas City’s youth-driven events, including camps and clinics. This internship is located in Kansas City, MO.
