Description

The UMass Institutional Research Internship is available to students at the University of Massachusetts who are interested in learning about higher education, research, and statistical analysis. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be eager to learn, and be proficient in Microsoft Office to be considered for this internship. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with quantitative statistical methods, data visualization, and proficiency in analyzing data in packages like SPSS, SAS, R, Python, and Tableau. As an intern, you will generate statistical analyses to help inform strategic initiatives, help develop online tools and processes that improve operational efficiency, and collect and review institutional metrics around admissions and enrollment, academic programs, faculty & staff, and alumni. This internship is located in Boston, MA, and runs during the fall semester.
