Description

The FHI 360 Media Relations Internship is available to students enrolled in a degree program in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a related field of study. You must have demonstrated interest in nonprofit communications and international development through studies, work experience, and/or personal travel to be considered for this internship. Additionally, you must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19, possess strong communication skills, and be knowledgeable about current events. As an intern, you will will work collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-media communications department to support the media relations strategy that advances FHI 360’s business priorities. Key functions include researching relevant news reporters and editors and identifying “newsworthy” angles around FHI 360 projects and programs. This team also supports the external communications team by contributing to written materials, monitoring media outlets, and reporting on outcomes. This internship is offered remotely and runs August - December.
