Description

The Environmental Education Internship is available to recent graduates of studies in biology, environmental science, education, or a related discipline. You must have experience working with children, the public, or in an educational setting to be considered for this internship. Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills, hold a valid driver's license, be able to work in all weather conditions, and be willing to work an atypical schedule. As an intern, you will provide interpretative, hands-on experiences related to conservation, nature, and the environment. You will utilize informal education methods to educate the public, and lead educational activities including overnight programs, nature discovery areas, virtual, and traditional classroom programs. On-site housing and a monthly stipend is available to interns. This internship is located in Glen Rose, TX, and is offered during the spring, summer, and fall semesters.
