Description

The Panther Ridge Conservation Center Exotic Feline Care Internship is available to students who are pursuing a degree in biology, zoology, or a related field. You must be hard-working, self-motivated, reliable, able to lift 50 pounds, and willing to work in an outdoor environment to be considered for this internship. Additionally, you must be available to work on weekends and holidays. Preference will be given to applicants who have at least three months experience working with exotic felines and to those who have animal training experience. As an intern, you will assist with diet/meal prep, cleaning enclosures, animal training, general maintenance and landscaping, perform behavioral observations, provide enrichment, and interact with the public. On-site housing is available for interns and a monthly stipend is offered. This internship is located in Loxahatchee, FL, and runs for three months.
