STEM High School Operations Internship-Planning and Process Improvement

Description

The STEM High School Operations Internship-Planning and Process Improvement is available to junior and senior level high school students who are interested in a STEM career. You must have strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills to be considered for this internship. Additionally, you must be proficient in Microsoft Office, be able to multi task, and demonstrate a commitment to learning. As an intern, you will assist in the creation of a Value Stream Map for a specific planning function, work closely with other planners and Operations personnel to identify waste, propose a future state map, document each step in the current planning process from start of initial work order thru completion to kitting, utilize existing tools and systems to manage and update current work standards, and build a rapport with key decision makers. This internship is located in Tewksbury, MA.
