The Oculus Computer Graphics And Computational Imaging Research Internship is available to students pursuing a PhD in computer science, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, applied physics, or related field. You must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have experience with computer graphics, including rasterization and ray tracing, to be considered for this internship. Preference will be given to applicants with real-time rendering API, numerical optimization on GPUs, and Unity/real-time engine experience. As an intern, you will develop novel algorithms and methods to enable and investigate new VR and AR headset technologies, implement proof-of-concept software and hardware prototypes that redefine the state-of-the-art in virtual and augmented reality, collaborate with scientists and engineers from a variety of technical backgrounds through all stages of project development, and publish research results in top-tier journals and at leading international conferences. This internship is located in Redmond, WA. Average monthly compensation for a Meta Intern is $8,000.
