Public Information Officer Internship

The Public Information Officer Internship is open to college students who are residents of Kansas. You must be enrolled in courses or demonstrate work experience in marketing, journalism or business management and experience in social media, have the ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures, you must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and use basic word processing, spreadsheets. Intern duties may include; execute web manager duties including content management system, website analytics and search engine optimization, develop and distribute multichannel marketing content, research trends to discover the optimized times to post content on social media, develop strategies for statewide promotional campaigns and create videography, photography and scripts for KCVAO marketing initiative. Other duties and responsibilities may be included as necessary. A valid drivers License is required.
