TLDEF Fall Legal Internship-Remote

Description

The TLDEF Fall Legal Internship-Remote is available to law school students who are committed to actively working in alignment with other social, racial, and economic justice movements. You must possess excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills to be eligible for this internship. Additionally, you must be a creative thinker, be able to prioritize and work independently, have proficiency in Microsoft Office, and have experience with or commitment to serving transgender, gender nonconforming, and nonbinary people. As an intern, you will assist in the drafting of pleadings, memoranda of law, demand letters, negotiation materials, and health insurance appeals, conduct client intake meetings, research legal questions, draft public education materials, and compile legal information and referral resources.
