Blue Ocean Research Whale Research Internship

The Blue Ocean Research and Education Internship is available to enthusiastic, motivated students to join us for 12 week sessions throughout the year. You must be detail oriented and have a strong desire both to learn and teach and knowledge of biology is helpful, but prior experience is not necessary to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will work with naturalists aboard a commercial whale watch vessel, the M/V Granite State, collect detailed data electronically, and educate passengers one-on-one about marine life in the Gulf of Maine, a thriving ecosystem known for some of the best whale watching in the country.
