The ISO Student Assistant for Cyber Security Internship Syracuse is available to junior and senior level undergraduate students and graduate students of any level who are majoring in information security, cybersecurity, computer science, or information technology. You must be enrolled on a full-time basis, in good academic standing, and have a demonstrated interest in cyber security and a basic knowledge of industry standard security concepts, tools, and devices to be eligible for this internship. Additionally, you must possess excellent communication skills, be proactive and organized, capable of working independently, and have proficiency in Microsoft Office. As an intern, you will gain valuable practical experience through developing security related support services for the OAG, be involved in critical, hands-on work that will have an immediate impact on the ISO’s portfolio, and learn from and collaborate with the ISO’s team of skilled information security professionals who are committed to safeguarding the OAG’s data and IT infrastructure from continuously evolving online/cyber threats. This internship may be fully remote or may be a hybrid of in-person and remote work.
