San Diego LGBT Sponsorship and Fundraising Internship

Description

The San Diego LGBT Sponsorship and Fundraising Internship is available to undergraduate students enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university. You must have advanced level skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn other computer software programs to be considered for this internship. Additionally, you must be outgoing, detail-oriented, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and use good judgment and be tactful while adhering to the overall mission of San Diego LGBT Pride to foster pride in and respect for the LGBT Communities of San Diego. Preference given to applicants with event planning and client management experience. As an intern, you will work directly under the supervision of the Director of Development with potential and current Pride donors before, during, and after the full event cycle and gain familiarity with successfully walking donors through the entire contract fulfillment process. You will gain experience in prospecting for, soliciting, managing, and fulfilling donor contracts. This internship is located in San Diego, CA.
