Description

The Field Program (Volunteer Engagement) Intern is available to currently enrolled rising undergraduate juniors or seniors, graduate students, or post-doctoral students in a degree program at an accredited college or university. You must have knowledge of the non-profit sector, either through coursework, volunteerism, or employment experience, excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently and clearly communicate information verbally and in writing, ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with information that will be obtained in daily interactions, and some volunteer experience is preferred, although not required to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will apply strategic, analytical, and creative thinking to help recruit and train a sustainable network of volunteers, ensure steady flow of wish submissions through creative and network driven sourcing efforts, and support the field team in expanding delivery of services with a focus on intergenerational programming. The hourly range is $18 for undergraduates, $21 for graduate students, $28 for Ph.D. candidates.
