Description

The Florida Biodiversity Collection Intern is available to students who have at minimum completed their junior year of undergraduate training and also welcome graduates and graduate students. You must demonstrate willingness to learn about and have an interest in museum protocols and courses or experience in invertebrate zoology or ichthyology to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will primary responsibilities include assisting staff in museum tasks such as specimen fixation, preservation and maintenance according to established protocols, data entry and report production, and taxonomic identification.
