Security Engineer Intern

The Security Engineer Intern is available students currently enrolled in or received a bachelor’s or master’s degree in math/statistics/engineering or other equivalent quantitative discipline. You must have experience with at least one functional scripting language (e.g., Perl, Python, Ruby, shell scripting), interest in furthering knowledge of system, network, and application security principles, proficient in one of the following languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell), ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions, and adept at handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving skills and effective communication to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will collaborate with experienced Amazonians to create and execute security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal and/or external attacks.
