Description
The Newsroom Intern is available to junior or senior attending accredited college or university interested in pursuing a career in broadcast journalism, in multiple capacities. You must submit a two-page essay explaining why you would like to be selected for an internship and three (3) academic and/or professional reference letters to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will focus on assisting the team with pre-production planning, setting up props, running prompter during the live show, greeting guest and audience members, assisting producers on the floor during the live show, making phone calls, updating our webbsite, and other duties that will provide a basic understanding of producing a live daily entertainment show.
