State Farm RDC P&C Actuarial & Modeling Internship-Fall

Description

The State Farm Actuarial Internship-Fall is available to undergraduate students attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign who are majoring in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or other Analytical field. You must be authorized to work in the U.S., have a minimum GPA of 3.5, and possess strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational, and critical-thinking skills to be considered for this internship. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with data and statistical analysis in Excel, SQL, SAS, R, and/or Python. As an intern, you will assess risk and financial needs for insurance products, develop innovative methods and applications to enhance insurance product pricing, research emerging industry trends and hot topics, and perform data mining and predictive modeling such as regression, forecasting, and machine learning. This internship is located at the University of Illinois Research Park in Champaign, IL.
