Description

The Africa Studies Volunteer Internship is available to undergraduate or graduate student (Master’s preferred) with an educational concentration in Africa, anthropology, conflict resolution, development, political science or a related field. You must demonstrate interest and understanding of African Policy issues, French, Arabic or Hausa language skills a plus and familiarity with blogging, social media, and crisis mapping a plus to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will assisting with research, copy editing, and fact-checking for op-ed pieces, articles, books on sub-Saharan Africa. Plus, you will assist in administering online tools, such as blogs and the Nigeria Security Tracker.
