Description
The Government Relations/Policy Internship is available to current students and recent graduates. Interns will assist LIVESTRONG in working with elected officials as they support legislation that has the potential to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. Tasks include: Corresponding with elected officials and organizations/members of the cancer community, tracking national bills of interest through the legislative process, and aiding in the organization of cancer policy meetings and LIVESTRONG advocacy events. You must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of computer competency, be self - motivated and organized to be considered for this internship.
