The National Space Club Scholars Program is open to high school students who have completed their sophomore year and are in good academic standing. The purpose of this program is to provide students with an opportunity to experience how research and development organizations operate on a day - to - day basis in direct support of NASA's mission to inspire the next generation of explorers. You must be 16 years of age by the starting date of the program, be a U.S. citizen, and be a resident of an area within commuting distance of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD or the NASA Wallops Flight Facility in Wallops Island, VA to be considered for this award.
