Utne Reader Editorial Internship

Description

The Utne Reader Editorial Internship is open to students have an interest in alternative media. As the editorial intern, you will read in the library and pitch story ideas, participate in editorial meetings, work on research projects, and handle duties related to library management, unsolicited manuscripts, and book publishers. In addition, you will regularly write for Utne.com, and may have opportunities to write for the print edition. Experience in journalism or publishing is preferred, but not mandatory.
