Description

The Cultural Survival Radio Project Internship is open to students and graduates who are interested in human rights and are also fluent and proficient in Spanish. Interns will work on a project between Cultural Survival and six Guatemalan organizations designed to protect Maya peoples' access to media and to improve the effectiveness of community radio as a means for Guatemala's indigenous groups to receive and convey information locally, nationally and globally. Interns will translate documents and memos, write updates, communicate with radio sponsors and partners, and must be able to think creatively. You must be able to commit at least 16 hours per week for at least six weeks to be eligible for this internship.
