Safeco Insurance offers an Associate Business Analyst Internship to juniors and non-graduating seniors who are majoring in a field of study which balance both business and computer programming courses (management information systems, computer science with business emphasis). Interns take part in writing new programs to meet challenging business needs, work in one or more phases of the systems development life cycle, and take part in analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation. Specialized courses and on-the-job training are offered to help interns better understand customers' business needs, programming techniques, and debugging tolls. You must have knowledge of a structured programming language, strong oral and written communication skills, and demonstrate desire to understand and apply business concepts to be considered for this program. In addition, you must be able to work full-time during the summer internship and be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States.
