Description

Alaska SeaLife Center offers an Education Internship to college students who are majoring in interpretation, education, environmental studies, oceanography, biology, graphic design, video, film, broadcast production, communications, and museum studies. Interns take part in the Center's dedication to understanding and maintaining the integrity of the marine ecosystem of Alaska through research, rehabilitation and public education. Duties may include assisting education staff in interpreting exhibits housing animals, presenting demonstrations and talks to the public, delivering hands-on educational programs, and producing exhibits. You must be able to commit to working 40 hours per week for at least 12 weeks. Housing, stipend and academic credit may be available.
