J. Paul Getty Trust - Graduate Information Management Internship

Description

The J. Paul Getty Trust offers a Graduate Information Management Internship for graduate students who intend to pursue careers in fields related to the visual arts. You must be currently enrolled in a graduate program leading to an advanced degree in a field relevant to the curatorial internship, or have completed a relevant graduate degree since June 2002 to be eligible. The duration of the internship is 8 months beginning in September. Participants work full-time and are award a $17,300 grant, health benefits, and an educational travel allowance. Information management interns work in departments such as museum registration, Web services, institutional archives, or library special collections, where they develop skills in managing collections, archives, and information resources, and assist in preparing materials for electronic delivery systems.
