The J. Paul Getty Trust offers a Graduate Curatorial Internship for graduate students who intend to pursue careers in fields related to the visual arts. You must be currently enrolled in a graduate program leading to an advanced degree in a field relevant to the curatorial internship, or have completed a relevant graduate degree since June 2002 to be eligible. The duration of the internship is 8 months beginning in September. Participants work full-time and are award a $17,300 grant, health benefits, and an educational travel allowance. Curatorial interns take part in the daily tasks of a museum department and assist in preparing exhibitions, as well as engage in research and writing projects.
