Waste Diversion Internship Deadline: 4/18/2022 The Waste Diversion Internship Paid is available to students with a strong interest in environmental stewardship, conservation, and sustainability. You must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work independently and efficiently, enjoy working outside in challenging weather conditions, and be able to stand for prolonged periods to be considered for this position. As intern, you will coordinate with staff and volunteers to provide recycling support to businesses and HOAs, check and tag recycling bins, oversee weekly Recycle Center education sessions, and provide support to other recycling events and programs. Pay will be in the range of $15-$20/hour.

You must have proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, excellent writing and communication skills, and a professional demeanor to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will be supporting Earth Day Network in our efforts to connect our global network of grassroots organizations, local authorities, educators, and youth.
The Chicago Botanic Garden REU Program Deadline: Varies The Chicago Botanic Garden REU Program is available to undergraduate participants with the opportunity to explore a diverse array of scientific fields related to plant biology and conservation. As an intern, you will be trained in all stages of research, from hypothesis formulation through experimental design, data collection, analysis, and ultimately presentation of results through a public research symposium. Environmental Policy and Advocacy Internship Deadline: Varies The Environmental Policy and Advocacy Internship is available at the Naples office of the Conservancy of Southwest Florida. You will work to research, investigate, report on and track environmental issues on the local, regional, state and federal levels. You must have a BA or BS in environmental policy or the natural sciences and demonstrate a strong commitment to the conservation of biodiversity, environmental quality and natural resources. You must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills and have a valid driver's license to be eligible for this position. Candidates should demonstrate commitment and interest in nature and to the environment. Interns learn about the museum field while completing at least one project that is critical to the Nature Museum's success. Academic credit may be available. Summer Wildlife Intern – Wildcare Inc.
