The Central Intelligence Agency Undergraduate Scholarship Program is available to full – time high school seniors, college freshmen, and college sophomores.

You must be a U.S. citizen, have and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

For incoming freshmen, you must have scored at least 21 ACT / 1500 SAT score. Preference is given to minorities and students with disabilities.

Dr Pepper 2014 Tuition Giveaway

Award: $100,000
Deadline: October 20, 2014
Available to: Ages 18-24 Years

Every student deserves a chance to realize their potential. That’s why Dr Pepper is awarding over $1,000,000 in tuition to help students across the country pursue their dreams.

The Dr Pepper Tuition Giveaway has changed lives by awarding over $6 million dollars in tuition since 2008. With the challenges of rising tuition costs and studying full-time, Dr Pepper takes pride in helping students achieve their goals.

If you’re a student between the ages of 18-24, you can tell your one of a kind goal to enter for the chance to compete to win up to $100,000 in tuition. You’ll be eligible to submit a video once you reach 50 votes.

Dr Pepper will select finalists for a chance to compete to win up to $100,000 in tuition at a college football championship game.

In addition, if you reach the top 5 of the $5,000 Leaderboard when voting ends, you could win $5,000 in tuition.

If you’re 25 and older, you won’t be eligible to compete to win $100,000 in tuition but you are eligible to compete for the leaderboard prize.

Collect as many votes as possible and if you’re in the top 5 of the Leaderboard when voting ends, you could win $5,000 in tuition. Coca-Cola Scholars Program

Award: $20,000
Deadline: October 31, 2014
Available to: High School Senior through College Freshman

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is open to high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree at an accredited post – secondary institution in the U.S.

You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award.

Additionally, you must be one of the following: US citizen; US national; US permanent resident; temporary resident (in a legalization program); refugee; asylee; Cuban-Haitian entrant; or humanitarian parolee. Home-schooled students may also apply.

Prudential Spirit of Community Award

Award: $6,000
Deadline: November 4, 2014
Available to: Maximum Age 18 Years

The Prudential Spirit of Community Award is open to students in grades 5 through 12 who have participated in volunteer activities in the past 12 months.

Local Honorees are selected by participating organizations in November and receive a certificate of recognition.

State Honorees are selected from each state and the District of Columbia and receive an award of $1,000, an engraved silver medallion and an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, DC for national recognition events.

Ten National Honorees receive an additional award of $5,000, an engraved gold medallion and a trophy for their school or organization.

Amazon Student Scholarship

Award: $5,500
Deadline: November 20, 2014
Available to: College Freshman through College Senior

The merit-based Amazon Student Scholarship will reward 50 full-time undergraduate students with $5,000 toward tuition and $500 to spend on textbooks at Amazon.com.

Applications are being accepted now, with the scholarship money distributed in time for fall semester 2015.

The scholarship is open to Amazon Student members who are U.S. undergraduates enrolled full-time at an accredited, nonprofit two- or four-year school.

The application period is open August 25 through November 20. Finalists will be selected based on GPA, community involvement, and leadership experience, and then invited to complete an essay to advance to the final round.

Winners will be notified in April 2015 and the scholarship awarded in July 2015.

Bluetooth Breakthrough Award

Award: $5,000
Deadline: December 5, 2014
Available to: High School Freshman through Graduate Student, Year 5

The Bluetooth Breakthrough Award is available to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students.

To be considered, you must submit an idea for a product, application, prototype; or student – led project that demonstrates how Bluetooth technology can be used in new ways.

A letter of recommendation from a teacher or professor is advised.

Gates Millennium Scholars Program

Award: Varies
Deadline: January 14, 2015
Available to: College Freshman

The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) Program is open to African – American, American Indian / Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, and Hispanic American students who are citizens, nationals, or legal permanent residents of the United States.

You must be an entering, full – time, degree – seeking, first – year student and have a minimum 3.3 GPA; or have earned a GED to be considered for this award.

You must also demonstrate significant financial need (meet the federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria) and exhibit leadership abilities through community service, extracurricular, or other activities.

Toshiba’s ExploraVision Science Competition

Award: $10,000
Deadline: January 30, 2015
Available to: Ages 14-21 Years

The ExploraVision Science Competition is available to students in grades K-12.

You must work in a group of two, three or four students.

Each team will select a technology that is present in the home, school and/or community and explore what the technology does, how it works and how or why it was invented.

All applicants must be citizens of the United States or Canada to be eligible.

North American International Auto Show’s Courageous Persuaders Scholarship

Available to: High School Freshman through High School Senior

Provided by the North American International Auto Show, the Courageous Persuaders Scholarship is available to high school students nationwide.

To be considered, you must create a 30-second television commercial targeted at middle school students to warn them about the dangers of underage drinking.

In addition to a scholarship award, the winning team will also have their commercial aired on television.
