With respect now with College costing north of $30K to $50K what good is a scholarship of $500-$5000? I seriously think that people need to spend a great time thinking if they want to go into debt for college what with the way our economy is heading. The only thing that is left is full paid or the higher dollar scholarships. And even then you have to look closely at what they really cover and how flexible they are on changes in major or transfers within their university system that will be.

Hey maybe ya'll should try contests! I too have applied to tons of scholarships and have gained nothing but if you have talent for anything even if its just wierd look it up, see if there is any contests for it- you just might gain somethin thata way! I'll give ya a plus! if one of ya is still in high school look up doodle for google and enter. its so easy and you just might hava chance at winnin! good luck with your search

Are there any scholarships on being double jointed? Ive looked but the links on google and yahoo always lead me somewhere completely opposite of what I wrote.

Scholarships are not a waste of time. The key concept you are missing is that quality always trumps quantity. Sure, you may have applied to several scholarships and did not receive anything, but there is no possible way that every single one of those scholarships truly showcased your talents or achievements. Perhaps a little time, effort, and an extra set of eyes could help you.
