The State University of New York College at Plattsburgh (SUNY Plattsburgh or Plattsburgh State College) is a public liberal arts college in Plattsburgh, New York. The college was founded in 1889 and officially opened in 1890. The college is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The college is also a member of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities. SUNY Plattsburgh has 5,704 students, of whom 5,297 are undergraduates.
