College of Western Idaho (CWI) is an American public community college located in Nampa, Idaho. It serves the Boise metropolitan area.
CWI began regular classes on January 20, 2009, with an enrollment of over 1100 students. Within its first year, CWI's enrollment expanded rapidly, with over 3600 students enrolled by the Fall 2009 semester. CWI's Nampa campus is the former West Campus of Boise State University. Currently, CWI is the second largest community college in Idaho with enrollment estimated at over 7100 students.
