Description
The Wayne C. Henderson Festival Scholarship is available to students/musicians of traditional acoustic instruments who are in grade eight up to students age 21. You must be a resident of the central Appalachian region, with preference given to students from Galax, Grayson, Carroll or Smyth County, Virginia, or Alleghany or Ashe County, North Carolina. An essay, two letters of recommendation and a short audio or video sample of your music are also required.
